What are Epic Camps?

Epic Camps are trusted holiday camps Newcastle & Durham are for children aged 3–13. We run during every school holiday, offering sports, crafts, baking, and themed activities in a fun, safe environment.  What ages do you cater to?

Epic Camps are designed for children aged 3 to 13. Children are grouped by age to ensure tailored, age-appropriate fun.

• Gosforth Junior High Academy: Ages 5–13

• Mowden Hall School- Ages 5-13

• Belmont Community School- Ages 5-13

• West Jesmond Primary School- Ages 5-13

Who can attend?

Our holiday camps Newcastle & Durham are open to all children aged 3–13, from any school or area. Families across the region choose Epic Camps for flexible, high-quality childcare during the school holidays.

What activities do you offer?

Epic Camps include rugby, football, cricket, arts & crafts, baking, drama, and multisport games. Every day offers something new, and our team ensures that all children stay active and engaged. Do you provide food and drinks?

Children should bring a packed lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle. We promote healthy choices and hydration throughout the day.

Are staff qualified?

Absolutely. All team members are DBS-checked, trained, and experienced in working with children. We always have a Paediatric First Aid qualified staff member onsite.

How do I book a place?
​
Booking is easy via our website. Choose your dates, select full days or weeks, add to cart, and check out. Our holiday camps in Newcastle & Durham are popular, so book early to avoid missing out.

How long is a camp day?
​

•  Drop-off: Anytime between 08:00–10:00

• Activities: 10:00–15:00

• Pick-up: Anytime between 15:00–17:30

• Please note on Fridays, Mowden Hall Camp will finish at 15:00.

• Please note on Fridays, Belmont Camp will finish at 15:00

• Please note on Fridays, West Jesmond Camp will finish at 16:00.

Can my child attend for just one day?

Yes! We offer flexible day and week options. Just head to our booking page and choose your preferred dates.

What's your cancellation policy?
​
1. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the camp start date
A credit note will be issued for the full value of your booking, which can be used towards a future Epic Camps booking. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
2. Cancellations made within 7 days of the camp start date
No refund or credit will be given.
Where Epic Camps agrees, at its sole discretion, to process a cancellation, transfer or credit outside of this policy, a £5 administration fee may apply.
3. Can I change my booking?
Yes. If you need to change your booking (for example, the date, venue or booked child), we will always do our best to help, subject to availability.
A £5 administration fee applies to all customer-requested booking amendments. This fee must be paid before any changes are processed.

What should my child wear and bring to our Epic Holiday Camps Newcastle?

What is your late pick-up policy?

Pick-up after 17:30 incurs a fee of £7.50 per 15 minutes.

What safety measures are in place?

All venues are risk-assessed, and staff are trained in first aid and safeguarding. We maintain strict supervision and safety protocols at all times.
At our holiday camps Newcastle & Durham, safety, care, and a warm welcome come first.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes- Please email us for a code for 20% off the second child booking. (it will remove 10% off your total order)

Do you accept childcare vouchers?
​
Yes we do. We are setup with a few providers, if you cant find our services on your provider, please email us and we can get setup easily.

What’s the difference between Rugby Minis and Epic Camps?

Rugby Minis Camps are themed around our structured rugby-based activities and are popular with younger children.
Epic Camps include a wider range of sports and creative activities, ideal for older children or those wanting more variety.
Both camps are designed for children aged 3–13 and can easily accommodate siblings!

How do I Pay with Childcare Vouchers?
​
Select “Manual Payment / Pay Offline” at checkout, then make your payment to Epic Camps Ltd (Ofsted URN: 2862684).
Use your camp postcode:

We’re registered with Tax-Free Childcare, Fideliti, Computershare, Kiddie Vouchers, and Pluxee.
If you can’t find us on your provider’s portal, email us and we’ll add the scheme.
After paying, email your confirmation to: info@epiccamps.co.uk
Bookings aren’t confirmed until we receive your email.
If we don’t receive confirmation 24 hours before camp, the booking will be cancelled.

Do you provide invoices or receipts for Universal Credit / childcare claims?
